What I do

I’m good at teaching you how to run your website. I’m good at designing your website. I’m good at working with you to get what you want, and get it on time. I’m good at communicating and recommending what is right for your situation and goals. I’m good at listening to your concerns and solving your problems.

In conversation, I’ll likely ask you a few tough questions. Questions like, “What are your goals for this project?” or “What is your budget for this project?” I’ll ask you what your plans are, and how long you need this current design to last. Those are very important questions, but they’re also pretty vague. I’ll offer you with tools and guidance to figure out how to answer them.

What I do, in a nutshell:

  • Discuss the particulars of what you want done
  • Establish why you want it done
  • Figure out where you’d like to take it in the future
  • Work with you on how to do it
  • Figure out how long it should take
  • Go to work on doing it
  • Teach you what I did, why I did it and how it benefits you
  • Teach you how to use what I did for you
  • Thank you for allowing us to help you

I’m well versed in:

  • WordPress and how to use it properly
  • Joomla and how to use it properly
  • Mambo and how to use it properly
  • Drupal and how to use it properly
  • CSS and how to apply it beautifully
  • JavaScript and how to make your site do things in an efficient, yet elegant way
  • Typography and how it affects the user experience
  • The importance of logo and branding
  • The importance of printed material and how to keep the brand
  • Helping you see possibilities you hadn’t considered
  • Keeping things simple

Above all, I specialize in educating my clients in the solution they decide is best and keeping a relationship to ensure that solution remains the best.
